The world is a fascinating place.
The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is a transformational initiative that enables Australian research community and industry access to nationally significant, leading edge data intensive eInfrastructure, platforms, skills and collections of high-quality data.
We are excited to announce a total investment of $12 million, with $20.47 million in co-investments from collaborating organisations, for 10 new platform projects under the 2019 Platforms open call.
We are establishing a portfolio of national scale data assets that support leading-edge research. We have six initial programs which will involve partnerships with research consortia, national infrastructure facilities, research institutions, emerging collections as well as public and private sector stakeholders.
We are creating a distributed data asset from the data outputs of health research projects, such as from NHMRC Clinical Trials and Cohort Studies.
