The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is undertaking activities that align with our five strategic themes to deliver a step change in sector capabilities that complement and build on existing infrastructure. This will ensure resources and workflows are discoverable, interoperable, sustainable, robust and accessible to all researchers; and provide access to the necessary skills and workforce development programs to enable competitive and high impact Australian research.
We currently have two core activities, our Platforms program and National Data Assets initiative. The Platforms program focuses on developing virtual research environments to find, collect, and analyse data, and generate FAIR outputs. The six programs within the National Data Assets initiative are designed to develop a portfolio of national-scale data assets that support leading-edge research over the next few years.
We are also establishing a register of external reviewers as part of our commitment to openness, rigour and transparency in our co-investment process. The external reviewers will be available to review proposals submitted in our various program open calls. If you would like to be an external reviewer for the ARDC please register your interest.
