A national microscopy data repository, Australian Neuroscience Microscopy Data Sharing (ANMDS), will be an open-source platform that can bring together the country’s leading neuroscientists in basic and clinical research.
Biological microscopy has undergone a revolution in the last two decades. The advances in optics, computational tools and automation make the modern microscope an instrument that can access all scales relevant to modern biology ranging from individual molecules through to whole tissues and organisms. The project focuses on the development of a national microscopy data repository, Australian Neuroscience Microscopy Data Sharing.
